Mae disgyblion wedi bod yn rhannu eu syniadau beth maent am astudio yn ystod y tymor yn yr ysgol.
Os hoffech chi drafod y thema gyda'ch plentyn a rhannu eich syniadau gyda'r athrawon llenwch y ffurflen hon.
Rydym yn awyddus i wrando ar lais y disgybl a dilyn eu syniadau, lle bo'n bosibl.
Pupils have been sharing their ideas on what they want to study during term time at school.

We are keen to listen to the pupil's voice and follow their ideas, where possible.

Byd Gwyrdd?
Mae gan y disgyblion lawer o syniadau am y hyn yr hoffant ddysgu y tymor hwn. Maent wedi gofyn cwestiynau diddorol am y tywydd, anifeiliaid, planhigion a bwyd. Mae nhw wedi bod yn trafod y tywydd yr wythnos hon yn dilyn cyfnodau o dywydd eithafol. Maent eisiau gwybod mwy am lifogydd, tswnamis ac eira! Mae’r disgyblion wrthi yn dylunio ‘Stiwdio Pennant’ er mwyn cael recordio rhagolygon y tywydd a newyddion. Mae ganddynt ddiddordeb yn y Ddaear a sut mae pethau yn tyfu, sut mae pethau yn gweithio a beth fedrwn ni ei wneud i helpu edrych ar ôl ein planed.
A green world?
Pupils have lots of ideas about what they would like to learn this term. They have asked interesting questions about the weather, animals, plants and food. They have been discussing the weather this week following periods of extreme weather. They want to know more about floods, tsunamis and snow! The pupils are currently designing 'Stiwdio Pennant' to record weather forecasts and news. They are interested in the Earth and how things grow, how things work and what we can do to help look after our planet.

Wrth fynd ati i gynllunio'n thema y tymor hwn - 'Byd Gwyrdd?' mae'r plant wedi cynnig llu o syniadau. Mae ganddynt ddiddordeb brwd mewn anifeiliaid, trychfilod ac adar. Pam fod yr anifeiliaid o dan fygythiad? Sut mae gwarchod natur lleol a denu mwy o adar i dir yr ysgol?
Rydym yn bwriadu mynd ati i ddatblygu'n sgiliau coginio hefyd er mwyn dysgu sut mae byw'n iach. Maent yn benderfynol o drefnu diwrnod dim trydan yn ogystal! Er mwyn ymarfer ein sgiliau llafar mae'r plant eisiau mynd ati i greu fideo eu hunain er mwyn rhannu efo chi. Beth yw'r pethau bychain fedrwn ni gyd wneud i warchod y blaned? Mae cyfnod prysur a chyffrous o'n blaenau!

As we set about planning as this term's theme -
'A Green World?' the children have come up with a host of ideas. They have a keen interest in animals, insects and birds. Why are the animals threatened? How do we conserve local nature and attract more birds to the school grounds?
We also plan to develop our cooking skills in order to learn how to live healthily. They are determined to organize a zero electricity day as well! In order to practise our oral skills the children want to create their own video to share with you. What are the little things we can all do to protect the planet? We have a busy and exciting time ahead of us!

Byd Gwyrdd?
Byd Gwyrdd? Ein thema y tymor hwn yw y ddaear. Bydd llawer o gyfleoedd i ddysgu pob math o ffeithiau am wledydd y byd. Byddwn yn astudio dwy nofel wahanol iawn, “The Last Bear” gan Hannah Hold ac O’r Tywyllwch gan Mair Wynn Hughes, Mae’r ddwy nofel yn son am sut mae pobl wedi cael effaith niweidiol yr ar y ddaear. Byddwn yn mynd ar daith rithiol o amgylch yr Artig ac yn dysgu am newidiadau yn yr hinsawdd. Bydd cyfle hefyd i ddysgu Ffrangeg ac i ddysgu am ieithoedd gwahanol fel Rwsieg, Almaeneg a Mandarin (China). Yng ngwyddoniaeth byddwn yn astudio cylchedrau trydan a sut mae creu egni trwy ddulliau adnewyddol. Yng nghelf byddwn yn tynnu lluniau anifeiliad yn eu cynefin.
A Green World?
Our theme this season is the earth. There will be many opportunities to learn about the countries of the world. We will be studying two very different novels, "The Last Bear" by Hannah Hold and “O'r Tywyllwch” by Mair Wynn Hughes. The theme of both novels is how humans have had a detrimental impact on the environment. We will go on a virtual tour of the Arctic and learn about climate change. There will also be an opportunity to learn French and other languages such as Russian, German and Mandarin (China). In science we will study electrical circuits and how to create energy through renewable methods. In art we'll draw animals in their habitat.
